HOW To Support CFF

This Sunday, August 26th, Bee Well Yoga is offering a donation based class at their studio from 6pm – 7:30pm. Donation based = no drop in or sign up fee from Bee Well, but be sure to drop a little (lottle) something for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

BTW – all donations will be matched 100% by Bee Well with match dollars capping off at $300.

Sign up at no cost here and don’t forget to check out the event Facebook page.

Can’t attend? Donate here.

“Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time.

In people with CF, a defective gene causes a thick, sticky buildup of mucus in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. In the lungs, the mucus clogs the airways and traps bacteria leading to infections, extensive lung damage, and eventually, respiratory failure. In the pancreas, the mucus prevents the release of digestive enzymes that allow the body to break down food and absorb vital nutrients.” – Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Per the CFF Patient Registry, more than 30,000 people are living with cystic fibrosis and roughly 1,000 new cases of CF are diagnosed each year.
